KORRA™ is a New Dehli fashion-conscious brand, producing high-quality durable jeans, each of them is handcrafted by a single tailor. They use natural or recycled raw materials sourced locally.
What has awakened my curiosity is a project they developed, which is perfect to be added to my “zero waste design” collection: the denim paper. Yes, it’s a paper made out of denim scraps. The company had the idea to reuse the waste generated from the jeans production into new products. The small fabric scraps from their workshop are worked and converted into pulp. The result is a paper they use for packaging, invoicing, promotional material. As the company declares on their Facebook Page “This denim paper is a symbol of KORRA™’s commitment to zero waste”.
